Apprenticeship Program

After completing your 6-day primary training program, you will continue your journey with our apprenticeship program. Whether required by your state or not, this program is invaluable for building foundational skills and confidence. This hands-on experience allows new artist to work under the guidance instructors, gaining insights that go beyond what can be learned in theory, online, or classroom settings.

Apprenticeships provide the opportunity to refine techniques, develop a steady hand and learn how to adapt to different skin types, client needs, and unexpected challenges. Under supervision, apprentices can make mistakes in a controlled environment, receive feedback, and improve, ensuring that when you work independently, you do so with the highest standards of safety, artistry, and professionalism.

Procedures will be one-on-one with a Board Certified AAM Instructor who will guide you through each step.

The Apprenticeship Program is a requirement for NJ practitioners.

New Jersey mandates the supervised completion of 15 procedures before you're eligible for your American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM) certification test. These procedures include 5 eyebrow treatments, 5 eyeliner treatments, and 5 lip liner/blush treatments.

Procedures completed during your primary training count towards this requirement.

The fee per supervised procedure is $350. You have the following options for payment: you can pay for each model individually, purchase a model package, or have your model pay for the procedure.

We strongly recommend finding your own models for the apprenticeship. You may use one model for all three procedures (e.g., eyebrows, lash line, and lip blush); however, please note that the fee is charged per procedure, not per mode.

‍Scheduling Apprenticeship appointments:

• Booking Fee: $100 due when scheduling the appointment.

• Balance Payment: $250 due on or before the day of the procedure.

Please indicate whether you will bring all supplies needed for each model or if you prefer VEDRA to provide the supplies, which incurs a $75.00 set-up fee per procedure.
